Full-service marketing program

A decade-long marketing program for one of Cayman's few all-inclusives.

The Wyndham Reef Resort Grand Cayman — formerly Wyndham Cayman — is one of the Cayman Islands' few true all-inclusive properties. ARSNL has been the marketing partner for nearly 10 years, running the website and booking-engine integration, paid media, content and social, CRM and loyalty, and the measurement stack. Direct-channel growth has been the through line, even when the macro hasn't cooperated.

The brief

Grow direct revenue and keep the property full, year in and year out.

The Reef sits in a competitive island market where OTAs and metasearch own most of the air. The economic case for the property is direct-channel: every booking that comes through the brand site is worth more than the same booking through an aggregator. The marketing program has to defend that channel every quarter, with paid media, brand work, CRM, and a booking funnel that holds direct share.

The challenge isn't only acquisition. It's keeping a resort full in low season — the months when the all-inclusive category compresses on price and the savvy traveler shops harder. The program has to work all 12 months.

What we did

The whole marketing program under one team, with direct revenue as the outcome.

- Website. Two ground-up redesigns over the relationship, with near-100% uptime and booking-engine function as the operating bar.

- Booking engine. Integrated with wyndham.com and the property's reservations system so the click becomes a confirmed booking, not a hand-off.

- Paid media. Meta, Google, programmatic, metasearch, and OTA co-op orchestrated against direct-revenue and RevPAR targets, with booking-window pacing.

- Content and social. Property and lifestyle content cut for paid and organic, plus the seasonal content cadence that keeps the brand visible across the booking window.

- CRM and loyalty. Email and loyalty programs that re-engage past guests and lift repeat stays.

- Measurement. The cleanest measurement stack the property has operated on — one view across channels, attributed to the room-night.

Why it worked

Direct channel as the discipline, the whole funnel as the responsibility.

Most resort agencies own a slice — media, or social, or the website. The Reef program works because ARSNL is responsible for the whole funnel: the site, the booking engine, the paid media that drives traffic to it, the CRM that brings guests back. One team, one outcome: direct revenue. That's why the relationship has held for a decade across multiple market cycles, and why low season holds at 90% occupancy.

The same operating model runs across the rest of our hotel and resort practice.
